Week Ending 8 July

This weekend I had my 2nd Brass Monkey event. The first 1 I had managed to win my class. But didn't think I would be so hopeful this weekend, for 2 reasons,

• Rachel who lost her paddle in the first race, wasn't going to loose it again, and she is better paddler than me.
• I had a chest infection, so really shouldn't have been racing.

The river was at 80 cumics, which is a decent flow.
Finished in 54min, placed 3rd.
